Pastel sketches evoking the immediate and vivid force that is apparent around the coastline. High-sided bays of shingle and sand, rising to open moorland and wide skies. Childhood holidays were spent camping by a cold moorland stream with sounds of sheep on the hills, listening to the buzzard's call.

Vases created using coloured slips and glazes, glazed on the inside. These designs are based on sketches after time on the north coast of Devon. Wild, exposed and beautiful.
