A favourite method of painting is oil on paper and so there are a few oil paintings in a sketchbook which have been done in response to some visits made to Hele Bay and Ilfracombe Harbour recently.
One of these oil sketches have already been turned into a wall-ready painting. Using Beech board, the edges are painted so it can either be hung as it is or framed to finish off. (A thin white box board would be good).
At least one of the original oil sketches above will be turned into a larger oil on board, but there's also Ilfracombe harbour which is a short walk from Hele Bay along footpaths away from traffic. It is a special place.
