Using scrim, oil paint, glue and spirit, this piece was created on a hot July day.
It's no secret I am a fan of mid 20th Century abstract art. Tapies, Kline, Diebenkorn; I could go on.
I have been told much of my work also reflects Japanese influence.
All I know is that this piece, and similar, comes straight from the core. It is not to most people's taste and so I tend not to post it. However, here we are; a peek behind the curatin.
