After spotting an offer I sent off for an experimental batch of paper which is believed to have been made between 1969 and 1973 as a waterleaf by J Green & Sons. This paper was sold (very cheaply) by the owner of the company this year, 2018 as a trial to see how it works. William of Vintage Paper Co, Stromness, Orkney thought it likely it would be a good printmaking paper and he is right. Thanks to William for giving m the opportunity to work with something almost as old as me.
A quick drypoint print using Hawthorn oil-based relief printing inks and an etching press.
