COLLAGRAPHE, CARBORUNDUM ET GRAVURE À LA POINTE SÈCHE
LES PIERRES DE STONEHENGE ET D'AVEBURY sont anciennes. A cru pour avoir été construits il y a environ 4 000 ans, ils se sont tenus (et sont tombés), ouverts à l'érosion, aux attaques et à l'examen et pourtant ils exercent toujours une fascination.
Cette série de gravures collagraphiques se concentre sur la sensation et l'expérience du lieu. Il semble qu'ils aient été pour décrire le système solaire comme cela a été vu il y a toutes ces années par de brillants ingénieurs et ainsi j'ai fait descendre les cieux pour rencontrer les pierres de cette façon.

Collagraph Oil-based relief printing inks on 250 gsm Fabriano. The stone were part sculpture, part canvas on which to describe the skies. This last piece take the idea a step further, removing the stone completely and looking to the stars.

Fantastique! Un moment c'est un abstrait, puis cela ressemble à de l'art préhistorique, et soudain je suis transporté dans l'espace. A part le vertige, j'aime beaucoup la forme et les couleurs ! -Jeff Reeve
