The professional smooth black clay sourced from Bath Potters' Supplies is a firm favourite. It is so easy to manipulate and holds well - can't get enough of it.

This is still in it's raw state. The last clay figure I made was bisque and then stone-fired, but I am looking to make a kiln for the next batch of works.

The horse head is unable to stand alone and is designed to be mounted but the bust sits happily by itself.
